Arvid Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvid Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arvid Pettersson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, FK Crvena zvezda's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Robak came free, but Jon Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, FK Crvena zvezda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Nordin to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes of play, Arrie Bollklubb's Alfons Kock made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Sigfridsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jon Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Robak, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Iwo Robak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Sigfridsson was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Joacim Bergstedt struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mattias Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Crvena zvezda. FK Crvena zvezda's Jon Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Robak in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ove Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrie Bollklubb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Crvena zvezda the free kick. Ove Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alfons Kock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Iwo Robak sped through FK Crvena zvezda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Sigfridsson. Jon Sigfridsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Robak's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Alvar Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Arrie Bollklubb's Iwo Robak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 47 played minutes Arrie Bollklubb got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tönnberg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Robak to make the kick off. Iwo Robak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Jon Sigfridsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Robak in the 55th minute of play forced FK Crvena zvezda's goalkeeper Jon Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvar Ambjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Arrie Bollklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvar Ambjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Iwo Robak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jon Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes FK Crvena zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Pettersson. Jon Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Robak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alfons Kock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Iwo Robak notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FK Crvena zvezda's Jon Sigfridsson. Jon Sigfridsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arrie Bollklubb's Iwo Robak in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jon Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Arrie Bollklubb made a substitution. Gavino Blasco replaced Leo Tönnberg. In the 85th minute, Arrie Bollklubb's Marcelo Romero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jon Sigfridsson. Jon Sigfridsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Jon Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Blasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes, Calle Rudkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Crvena zvezda and the Arrie Bollklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arrie Bollklubb booed when FK Crvena zvezda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FK Crvena zvezda's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Blasco came free, but Jon Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
