With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Almstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Ambjörnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Ambjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Phibsborough Fox booed when Forfar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Kenneth Nordström sent off a good shot on target. The coaching staff of Forfar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Herbert Gustavsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, one of Forfar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forfar FC. If Kenneth Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Ambjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Erik Almstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forfar FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Forfar FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 75 minutes, Kenneth Nordström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phibsborough Fox and the Forfar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Forfar FC booed when Phibsborough Fox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valentin Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Tobias Hybbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Valentin Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erik Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Phibsborough Fox supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Forfar FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Forfar FC.
