He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Götet reached it. Marcial Bide made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Kjell-Arne Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Fredric Ros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Yang Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Omar Chap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Omar Chap who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Exelsior's Fredric Ros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IFK Götet's Marcial Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Eriksson in the 47th minute of play.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Jim Collin put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Exelsior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Fredric Ros went to the wrong direction when Thomas Karlstedt was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Thomas Karlstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredric Ros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Karlstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Zander charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Zander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Exelsior:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Götet:s goal. Thomas Karlstedt walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Hermansson in the 94th minute of play forced IFK Götet's goalkeeper Marcial Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mo Yang Quan in the 97th minute of the match. Mo Yang Quan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Fredric Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. IFK Götet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
