Ian Kock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Eklund in the 20th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Klas Njurenius put in a rough tackle. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for FC Hans. Jens-Ola Pihlblad stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conny Adelsköld. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Palm in the 26th minute of play forced Ostby FC's goalkeeper Conny Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hans's Ian Kock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Ekström in the 30th minute of play. The throw-in from Mathias Hansson in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ostby FC's Yngve Markusson. Ian Kock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Ekström went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonatan Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ian Kock made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Jonatan Eklund made a precise shot to the right of Ian Kock. FC Hans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Jonatan Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ian Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Ostby FC's Olov Ekström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1.

The wind increased when Jonatan Eklund made the kick off in the second half. Ostby FC's Jonatan Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Olov Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Kock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Kock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Ekström in the 72nd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Kock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Ekström in the 97th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Olov Ekström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Kock was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ostby FC fully deserved thier win.
