Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Ostby FC's Jonatan Eklund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huddungeby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Bäckman was slow to take the kick. During this time Ostby FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Pontus Vallander managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jens-Erik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Markusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes Huddungeby got a freekick which was hit by Dag Nyström. Olov Ekström scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Erik Sjöberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Erik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Tidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dag Nyström succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Dag Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Erik Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ostby FC's Jonatan Eklund. But to his dismay, Jonatan Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Isac Säf hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Markusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Eklund in the 34th minute of play forced Huddungeby's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sven-Ove Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huddungeby's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Stenman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Adelsköld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Erik Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Eklund in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Yngve Markusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Isac Säf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddungeby and the Ostby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Isac Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Huddungeby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ostby FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Ove Stenman made a kick off. Sven-Ove Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Conny Adelsköld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonatan Eklund fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostby FC's protests and gave Jonatan Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ostby FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jonatan Eklund hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Huddungeby got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Stenman. With 60 minutes on the clock, Jimmie Petersson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Huddungeby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Markusson in the 63rd minute of play forced Huddungeby's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Olov Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Jonatan Eklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jens-Erik Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Erik Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Tidén in the 79th minute of the match. Huddungeby's Jens-Erik Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Markusson in the 81st minute of play. Jens-Erik Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Tidén in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Bodin in the 87th minute of play forced Huddungeby's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Eklund hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Huddungeby's Jens-Erik Sjöberg got control of the ball when Olov Ekström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huddungeby's Sven-Ove Stenman got a free kick in the 98th minute.
