After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Michel Olsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Britz came out of the goal and Michel Olsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Arsenal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Trelleborg:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for IFK Trelleborg. Michel Olsman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentin Britz. 2-0. Isaac Österberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ola Wallin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Gunnarsson having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Torsten Thedin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Britz. The goal made the score 3-0. Ted Gunnarsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arsenal FC's Gottfrid Sandberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Olsman was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Michel Olsman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Britz was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Torsten Thedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, IFK Trelleborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Örnberg to maneuver through the defense. If Harald Mikaelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Olsman in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Britz saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. Arsenal FC's Valentin Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Thedin in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Bredberg. 69 minutes into the game, Elof Zachrisson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Trelleborg the free kick. Elof Zachrisson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ted Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Sandberg in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Arsenal FC got a corner. IFK Trelleborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gottfrid Sandberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Arsenal FC's Sakarias Brandin to a score. 4-2 in the 78th minute. Jakob Dahlberg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Isaac Österberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Britz having to make a save. Torsten Thedin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Britz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Michel Olsman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Britz having to interfere. There was no doubt that IFK Trelleborg were the better team. IFK Trelleborg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
