The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Per-Arne Nordkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Svante Björnsson made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Per-Arne Nordkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Svante Björnsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th minute Calle Örn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Åke Arenius kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Per-Arne Nordkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Svante Björnsson made a huge save. Svante Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Saltö BK's Markus Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Markus Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Svante Björnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Saltö BK's Per-Arne Nordkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carl Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Svante Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Saltö BK's Calle Örn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Svante Björnsson. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Svante Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Per-Arne Nordkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Svante Björnsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Markus Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Åke Arenius hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ola Bäck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svante Björnsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Urban Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Markus Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saltö BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Markus Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Björnsson made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Per-Arne Nordkvist sent off a good shot on target.

Svante Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Per-Arne Nordkvist notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sörberge BF's Svante Björnsson. Svante Björnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 71st minute of play forced Sörberge BF's goalkeeper Svante Björnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 74th minute of play. Svante Björnsson came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Saltö BK's Calle Örn. But to his dismay, Calle Örn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ralf Gudmundsson's late challenge caught a Saltö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Gudmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Sörberge BF got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Gudmundsson. Sörberge BF's Svante Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Örn in the 83rd minute of play. Markus Johansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svante Björnsson having to make a save. Sörberge BF's Svante Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's Per-Arne Nordkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Calle Örn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saltö BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Örn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Arne Nordkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svante Björnsson having to make a save. Svante Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Saltö BK had played much better football throughout.
