The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulf Lundgren came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Yoda FC's Wilhelm Salkvist. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Salkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Hammarby SK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Joakim Majman hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Vilhelm Berglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulf Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Edmund Kellman charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Kellman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edmund Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Hammarby SK's Ulf Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Salkvist in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Wallmark during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yoda FC made a substitution. Kalle Nyqvist replaced Vilhelm Berglund. A collision led to Hammarby SK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nils Wallmark hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Salkvist in the 33rd minute of play forced Hammarby SK's goalkeeper Ulf Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hammarby SK booed when Yoda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Häll made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edmund Kellman immediately put the ball in play. The wind increased when Patrick Bergdal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Patrick Bergdal made a precise shot to the right of Filip Lindström. Yoda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Håkansson during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 minutes of play Hammarby SK's Nils Wallmark was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Nils Wallmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match, Wilhelm Salkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulf Lundgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Wilhelm Salkvist put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Ulf Lundgren. 79 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Ekström notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Hammarby SK's Ulf Lundgren. Ulf Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kalle Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulf Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Viggo Ljungberg sent off a good shot on target. Ulf Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ulf Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
