In the 7th minute Ludvig Lövkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sten Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yoda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svante Björnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lars-Erik Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Wilhelm Salkvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Svante Björnsson, passed just outside the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Yoda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Arenius came free, but Filip Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Arenius scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Lindström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Svante Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Yoda FC got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Ljungberg. Wilhelm Salkvist struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Svante Björnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoda FC. Lars-Erik Ekström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Sven-Olof Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Sörberge BF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yoda FC's Filip Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Yoda FC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Sörberge BF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Berglund came free, but Svante Björnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Arenius got free with Filip Lindström in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svante Björnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Berglund went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Arenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Filip Lindström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, Yoda FC's goalkeeper Filip Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Åke Arenius. In the 82nd match minute, Yoda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. Urban Hedvall charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urban Hedvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yoda FC booed when Sörberge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sörberge BF getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Samuel Fridlund hit a great ball. The Sörberge BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sörberge BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
