Koppány Török showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. FC Lassens's Koppány Török proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lassens from getting a goal against them. FC Lassens's Koppány Török played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Olofsson in the 19th minute of play. Dick Mogren hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsveden IFK's zone, Ademar Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Nyberg came out of the goal and Ademar Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petter Utfal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jonatan Pihlgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börge Nyberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Holmsveden IFK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Utfal. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Sven-Arne Gustavsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ademar Mendes to make the kick off. Koppány Török took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Arne Gustavsson took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koppány Török. Koppány Török dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of FC Lassens booed when Holmsveden IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. 肖海骋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play FC Lassens's Jon Lassen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Per Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koppány Török having to interfere. Jonatan Pihlgren took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börge Nyberg. Börge Nyberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. FC Lassens's Peter Alegren was substituted for Jonatan Pihlgren. Aleksander Brummer struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Koppány Török didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmsveden IFK. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsveden IFK's zone, Peter Alegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Nyberg came out of the goal and Peter Alegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Lassens made a substitution. Stig-Åke Wiman replaced Dick Mogren. In the 85th minute, Stig-Åke Wiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Alegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Börge Nyberg made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Holmsveden IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holmsveden IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lassens had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
