Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martin Delin got the match started through his kick off. Petter Björkqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Saltö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Jakobsson came free, but Hugo Back reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Saltö BK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Markus Johansson hit a great ball. BK benbrott's Petter Björkqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save BK benbrott from getting a goal against them. Per-Arne Nordkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petter Björkqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Per-Arne Nordkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. When Calle Örn came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Saltö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Örn couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes BK benbrott got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Tholsson. The supporters of BK benbrott booed when Saltö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Hedberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Delin in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Markus Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malte Billberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Per-Arne Nordkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petter Björkqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Petter Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Örn in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, BK benbrott's goalkeeper Petter Björkqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist. Hugo Back made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Tholsson in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Per-Arne Nordkvist made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, BK benbrott's Martin Delin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Back was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calle Örn took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Björkqvist. Petter Björkqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Calle Örn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saltö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Örn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petter Björkqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Markus Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, BK benbrott's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Nordkvist came free, but Petter Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BK benbrott's Stellan Ånger got a free kick in the 84th minute. Petter Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Saltö BK were the better team. Saltö BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
