In the 46th minute Claes Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Arne Nordkvist made a kick off. Hans Brandin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Saltö BK's Victor Lang suffered a sore foot after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Claes Brummer was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when SVARTJÖKENS FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Arne Nordkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hannes Bålström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Back. Saltö BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Bålström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 84th minute, Ivan Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
