In the 5th match minute, Kosova REP. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Egil Löfskog made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Calle Örn sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the game, Robert Klint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kosova REP.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saltö BK the free kick. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when Kosova REP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Klint didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kosova REP.'s Egil Löfskog got control of the ball when Per-Arne Nordkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Sikström during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Rune Ahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Saltö BK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Kvalfält. Per-Arne Nordkvists short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Egil Löfskog to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when Kosova REP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saltö BK's Hans Brandin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Egil Löfskog but with some difficulty. In the 37th match minute, Saltö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. Kosova REP.'s Stig-Åke Vallmark couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saltö BK. A hard shot 42 in the game by Per-Arne Nordkvist from a close distance when the talented Egil Löfskog managed to make a qualified save. Kosova REP.'s players were relieved. Per-Arne Nordkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Egil Löfskog when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Saltö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Ahlberg to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saltö BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rune Ahlberg hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Emil Sikström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egil Löfskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egil Löfskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Kosova REP. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Carl Kvalfält sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egil Löfskog skillfully saved the ball. In the 67th match minute, Kosova REP. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Klint to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Saltö BK's Hans Brandin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egil Löfskog came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saltö BK reached it. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Nordkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egil Löfskog was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th match minute, Kosova REP. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's Carl Kvalfält sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egil Löfskog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Egil Löfskog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Robert Klint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Per-Arne Nordkvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kosova REP.'s Egil Löfskog. Egil Löfskog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Per-Arne Nordkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Löfskog was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Löfskog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saltö BK's Calle Örn got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kosova REP.'s Egil Löfskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saltö BK fully deserved thier win.
