Folke Harman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conny Alkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Richard Borre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elítes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Michael Julin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conny Alkvist was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Folke Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Conny Alkvist made a huge save. Tord Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Julin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conny Alkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Löfskog in the 38th minute of play forced Zinken IF's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Folke Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Rasmus Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kåre Löfskog to make the kick off. When Folke Harman came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Zinken IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Harman couldn't finish the play. Conny Alkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Julin went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Tord Göransson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elítes's protests and gave Tord Göransson a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Elítes got a freekick which was hit by Tord Göransson. The supporters of Zinken IF booed when Elítes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Alkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Julin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Michael Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zinken IF booed when Elítes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Michael Julin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elítes's Conny Alkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Michael Julin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Zinken IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Julin couldn't finish the play. Eddie Lennartsson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Fred Ahlfors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elítes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Ahlfors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zinken IF's Michael Julin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Folke Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Folke Harman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Michael Julin notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Elítes's Conny Alkvist. Conny Alkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zinken IF had played much better football throughout.
