George Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Mårtensson having to interfere. Simon Pil's late challenge caught a fakatax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Pil helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Grep was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sandvången BK got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Harman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Strömbom in the 54th minute of play forced fakatax's goalkeeper Mark Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Sandvången BK got a freekick which was hit by Paul Hedin. Fabian Hääger scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Eriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match Mattias Björck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Eriksson skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute, George Grep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Mårtensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Hedin in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Eriksson saved fakatax from getting behind. Mark Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Giöck during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Sandvången BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Giöck to maneuver through the defense. George Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Mårtensson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Grep in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Hedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mark Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sandvången BK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing fakatax to win.
