Ture Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Harman in the 18th minute of play. Peder Anselius's late challenge caught a Zinken IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zinken IF's Karl-Åke Hake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Zinken IF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Zinken IF's zone, Urban Asklöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Hake came out of the goal and Urban Asklöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zinken IF's Karl-Åke Hake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Zinken IF from getting a goal against them. Ture Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Harman in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Zinken IF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Anselius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Michael Julin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ture Hedvall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ture Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Julin in the 55th minute of play. When the match was over Zinken IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Svartå throughout the match.
