Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kåre Löfskog kicked off to start the match. Richard Borre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dag Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Conny Alkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm Red Sox. Conny Alkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dag Söderberg went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Kjellkvist in the 14th minute of play forced Elítes's goalkeeper Conny Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Kåre Löfskog got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 22 minutes into the match. Roger Widberg scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Alkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Kaxe during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Stockholm Red Sox got a freekick which was hit by Filip Kaxe. 42 minutes into the match, Melker Kjellkvist notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Elítes's Conny Alkvist. Conny Alkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dag Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm Red Sox's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Alkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Melker Kjellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Conny Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dag Söderberg scored 1-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Alkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manfred Frisck hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Conny Alkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melker Kjellkvist in the 65th minute. Dag Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conny Alkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Stockholm Red Sox getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rudolf Vassenius hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Elítes's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Kjellkvist came free, but Conny Alkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Widberg in the 84th minute of play forced Elítes's goalkeeper Conny Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Stockholm Red Sox were awarded a corner. Eddie Lund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Stockholm Red Sox's Eddie Lund to fire away a dangerous shot which Conny Alkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Manfred Frisck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elítes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm Red Sox the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Elítes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Frisck to maneuver through the defense. Conny Alkvist made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Melker Kjellkvist sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, Elítes's Kåre Löfskog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roy Sjö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Elítes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stockholm Red Sox were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
