The Hundsjön BK fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Hundsjön BK's John Nilsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Calle Hedman struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Calle Fastesson sped through Örbypojkarna IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andréas Lindberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Nilsson got free with Andréas Lindberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as John Nilsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andréas Lindberg. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Örbypojkarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when John Nilsson came free, but Andréas Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Örbypojkarna IF's Bo-Erik Igelström got a free kick in the 35th minute. John Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Andréas Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calle Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Lindberg having to interfere. Andréas Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Nilsson in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Calle Fastesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hundsjön BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Fastesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andréas Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Nilsson's late challenge caught a Örbypojkarna IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Nilsson helped the player get up and apologised. John Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvar Nordström made a kick off. Calle Fastesson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Lindberg. Andréas Lindberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Nilsson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andréas Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andréas Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Nilsson in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Örbypojkarna IF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bo-Erik Igelström hit a great ball. Calle Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Lindberg having to interfere. The supporters of Hundsjön BK booed when Örbypojkarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Clementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Nilsson scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andréas Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calle Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calle Fastesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andréas Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sebastian Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hundsjön BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
