Mathias Gadd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Lindberg having to interfere. Gilbert Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Örbypojkarna IF's zone, Mathias Gadd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Lindberg came out of the goal and Mathias Gadd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andréas Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Gadd in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilbert Colin made a kick off. Gilbert Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Andréas Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Elliot Hedström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Harald Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Hegg got free with Vilhelm Ivarsson in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilhelm Ivarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Nordström's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Örbypojkarna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Colin came free, but Andréas Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvar Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
