FC Zulu's Joseph Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Zulu's Lasse Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Ekerot in the 24th minute of play. Tomas Bergström charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Bergström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes FC Zulu got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Bergström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Håkansson in the 31st minute of play forced Alvesta's goalkeeper Patric Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Zulu's Peter Sikström got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When FC Zulu's Joseph Håkansson in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvesta's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folke Ekerot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kim Åström charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Åström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Alvesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Åström to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Joseph Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patric Axelsson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Joseph Håkansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zulu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 68th play minutes Joseph Håkansson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Patric Axelsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Hubert Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Örn struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Patric Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zulu.
