The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Skålberg got free with Markus Kruuse in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Kruuse made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Daniel Skålberg sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji's Alfred Lindholm got a free kick in the 8th minute. Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji's attentive Sivert Pihlberg managed to snatch the ball when Frans Göransson made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Alvesta's goal looked a bit too open when Ödön Keresztesi came free, but Patric Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji's Ludvig Hedin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Kruuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Ekerot in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alvesta's zone, Sivert Pihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Axelsson came out of the goal and Sivert Pihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Alvesta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jens Åström hit a great ball. Ödön Keresztesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Alvesta defense, Olof Spets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patric Axelsson. The Alvesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Axelsson should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Alvesta's Folke Ekerot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Kruuse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Alvesta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Ekerot to make the kick off. Markus Kruuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Ekerot in the 54th minute of play. Ödön Keresztesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji! Sivert Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Axelsson having to interfere. Ödön Keresztesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Patric Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji's Ödön Keresztesi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ödön Keresztesi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Patric Axelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, Karşiyaka Futbol Koleji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Kjellkvist to maneuver through the defense. Markus Kruuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Alvesta's Daniel Skålberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Kruuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 85th minute of the match, Ödön Keresztesi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patric Axelsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ödön Keresztesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ödön Keresztesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
