Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Kurt Berg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A hard shot by Rasmus Enström from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Fred Vallman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Brokhult IF booed when Alvesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Bergdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patric Axelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Berg ran back to his position shaking his head. When Folke Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Alvesta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Ekerot couldn't finish the play. Fred Vallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 37th minute, Kjell-Arne Lund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patric Axelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Brokhult IF's Felix Sillén got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 46 played minutes Alvesta got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Skålberg. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Felix Sillén hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fred Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Bergdal in the 55th minute of the match. Alvesta's Patric Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Lund in the 65th minute of play. Fred Vallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Ekerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Ekerot hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Brokhult IF's Kurt Berg in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Patric Axelsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With his leg Patric Axelsson managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Brokhult IF's Kurt Berg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alvesta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kjell-Arne Lund 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Patric Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Lund in the 86th minute of play. Kurt Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Axelsson having to interfere. Patric Axelsson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Kurt Berg sent off a good shot on target.
