Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Katrineholm IF's Dan Åström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Katrineholm IF's Mathias Hedlund got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Håkan Springfält scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Björling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Sven-Erik Vallmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brantevik FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 28th minute, Dan Åström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Björling was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Brantevik FF booed when Katrineholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Vallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ludvig Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Katrineholm IF's Mathias Hedlund got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mathias Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Magnus Stephansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 48 played minutes Katrineholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Ambjörnsson.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Vallander to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Kevin Vallander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludvig Strand was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Brantevik FF's Kevin Vallander got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Vallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ludvig Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Katrineholm IF's Håkan Springfält made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ludvig Strand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Vallander in the 69th minute of play. Håkan Springfält struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Edvard Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katrineholm IF. Ludvig Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 83 played minutes Katrineholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Hedlund. In the 90th match minute, Katrineholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Springfält to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
