Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Black Mambas FC's Lars-Erik Hjortsberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Hjortsberg in the 7th minute of play forced Katrineholm IF's goalkeeper Ludvig Strand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dan Åström came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Katrineholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Åström couldn't finish the play. Dennis Hagström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Åström's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Mathias Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dennis Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludvig Strand made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Roy Siöman sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Black Mambas FC's Sune Hafström got a free kick in the 17th minute. Håkan Springfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Hagström having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Håkan Springfält ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Hagström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Åström in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes of play, Katrineholm IF's Dan Åström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Hagström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lars-Erik Hjortsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Mambas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Hjortsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Strand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Black Mambas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Springfält came free, but Dennis Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Dan Åström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dennis Hagström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Dennis Hagström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Springfält in the 52nd minute. Håkan Springfält who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Dennis Hagström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dennis Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sune Hafström charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sune Hafström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Katrineholm IF booed when Black Mambas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Hafström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Katrineholm IF's Dan Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 62 in the game by Dan Åström from a close distance when the talented Dennis Hagström managed to make a qualified save. Black Mambas FC's players were relieved. After 64 played minutes, Black Mambas FC's Melker Lundgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludvig Strand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Mambas FC reached it. Black Mambas FC's Dennis Hagström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Black Mambas FC from getting a goal against them. Dan Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Katrineholm IF booed when Black Mambas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Hagström made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Håkan Springfält sent off a good shot on target. Katrineholm IF's Dan Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Dan Åström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dan Åström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Hagström came out and tried to block the shot, but Dan Åström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 83rd minute. Dan Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Hagström having to interfere. Katrineholm IF played a much better game than Black Mambas FC and deserved their victory. The Black Mambas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
