When Henric Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK Fotboll's protests and gave Henric Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gotham City booed when AIK Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Fermin Elia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AIK Fotboll's Michael Frykberg. Michael Frykberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17thth minute of the game Joachim Groth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gotham City's Ingmar Aleberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, AIK Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Elia came free, but Michael Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Frykberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Elia in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Fermin Elia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK Fotboll's Michael Frykberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Larsfelt. 32 minutes into the game, Bengt Carlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gotham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK Fotboll the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Bengt Carlberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Fermin Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Ström hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Fermin Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Frykberg having to interfere. Vicente Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Michael Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Walentin Lannild managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gotham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Walentin Lannild was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Frykberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Joachim Groth made the kick off in the second half. When Åke Sjöström came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the AIK Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Sjöström couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match, Fermin Elia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Frykberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fermin Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Michael Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Frykberg was a little too slow when Fermin Elia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. Fermin Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Frykberg having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK Fotboll's goalkeeper Michael Frykberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ingmar Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Vicente Pelayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Frykberg. AIK Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Pelayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The throw-in from Stig Gallberg in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AIK Fotboll's Malte Fernkvist. Fermin Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Michael Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AIK Fotboll getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ivan Ekström hit a great ball. Michael Frykberg was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Vicente Pelayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Pelayo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The Gotham City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
