When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Håkan Springfält sped through AIK Fotboll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michael Frykberg. After a rather tough play, AIK Fotboll's Joachim Groth got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Joachim Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot.
