Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hannes Jönsson got the match started through his kick off. If Michael Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Hannes Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mathias Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Äng's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Kullander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Vennerkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mathias Kullander kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ulf Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Äng's zone, Hannes Jönsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Björklund came out of the goal and Hannes Jönsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Äng's Jan Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Svensson in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Påryd BK booed when Äng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mathias Kullander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Påryd BK's Mårten Vennerkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Påryd BK's goalkeeper Mårten Vennerkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Åström. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Påryd BK's Ulf Christoffersson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Kullander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Vennerkvist having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Mathias Kullander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mårten Vennerkvist. Påryd BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Kullander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Michael Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Åström in the 80th minute of play forced Påryd BK's goalkeeper Mårten Vennerkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mårten Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Kullander in the 85th minute of the match. Michael Åström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mårten Vennerkvist having to make a save. Michael Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Vennerkvist having to interfere. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Michael Åström sped through Påryd BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mårten Vennerkvist. Kenny Hök kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Äng were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
