If Lars-Erik Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Ove Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Hafström in the 29th minute of play. Rune Stenström might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Stenström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 minutes, Vincent Danielsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Mambas FC and the Norrlands Guld players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Black Mambas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Roger Olsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Karl-Ove Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Hjortsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Lars-Erik Hjortsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Stenström, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Karl-Ove Wiklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars-Erik Hjortsberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 63 minute of play. Sune Hafström kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Roger Olsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dennis Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Rune Stenström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Guld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Stenström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Ove Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Danielsson in the 97th minute of the match.
