The corner led Överlida IFK's Malte Granberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Anton Hökqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jörn Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Göran Ekeberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Överlida IFK's Christer Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leeds AFC's Anton Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Lindqvist in the 15th minute of play. Anton Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Ekeberg scored 4-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Hökqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malte Granberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Hökqvist having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Malte Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Överlida IFK fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Överlida IFK's Göran Ekeberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Leeds AFC's Karl-Michael Strömqvist got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Leeds AFC's Anton Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Lindqvist in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Göran Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Anton Hökqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Hökqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Anton Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Överlida IFK's Christer Lindqvist made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Hökqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Lindberg in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Göran Ekeberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Hökqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Ekeberg went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Ekeberg in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Hökqvist saved Leeds AFC from getting behind. Göran Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anton Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Överlida IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
