A collision led to Epecon IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Freddie Finnman hit a great ball. Axel Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Löfskog in the 18th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lars Danielsson sped through Epecon IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Axel Sigfridsson. Freddie Finnman hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Malcolm Hult's late challenge caught a Epecon IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Hult helped the player get up and apologised. Malcolm Hult hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lars Danielsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Axel Sigfridsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Epecon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Finnman to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Charles Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Sandström struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Axel Sigfridsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palm Green. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Pihlberg was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Palm Green got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Vennerkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Danielsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Epecon IF's goalkeeper Axel Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Epecon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Finnman to maneuver through the defense. Axel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Vennerkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Axel Sigfridsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Palm Green's zone, Eric Pihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Enström came out of the goal and Eric Pihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredric Wiman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Charles Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Sigfridsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Vennerkvist in the 67th minute of play forced Epecon IF's goalkeeper Axel Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Epecon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Löfskog came free, but Axel Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epecon IF's Axel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Danielsson in the 70th minute of play. When Palm Green's Charles Sandström in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Epecon IF's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Epecon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Sandström came free, but Axel Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Palm Green's Lars Danielsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 85th minute, Lars Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Sigfridsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Lars Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Sigfridsson having to interfere. Jimmie Vennerkvist took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Sigfridsson. Axel Sigfridsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 93rd minute Lars Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddie Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Palm Green players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
