Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonatan Böcklund kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Frändefors IF booed when Gamla Köpstad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Clementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Knut Wenerdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute Andreas Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andréas Alfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Andreas Söderquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Ödmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lars Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Frändefors IF's zone, Andreas Söderquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Ödmann came out of the goal and Andreas Söderquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henric Lundström was a little too slow when Frankie Waite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 23rd minute of the match, Frankie Waite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henric Lundström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andreas Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Frändefors IF's Andréas Alfors dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Kalfhage during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gamla Köpstad FC's Lars Kalfhage got a free kick in the 40th minute. Andreas Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thorlejf Karof kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frankie Waite made the kick off in the second half. Henric Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Alfors in the 52nd minute of play. Henric Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Andreas Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gamla Köpstad FC's Jonatan Böcklund got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andréas Alfors took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henric Lundström. Henric Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 83rd minute Patric Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Waite, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Benjamin Ödmann made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Andreas Söderquist sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Thorlejf Karof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Thomas Langås shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Ödmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonatan Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Gamla Köpstad FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Bratt. Henric Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Wenerdahl in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Frändefors IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gamla Köpstad FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
