Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henry Malmberg made the kick off which started today's match. Bernt Tinglöf acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl-Åke Kilström. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Ahlgren during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Tinglöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Axel Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Fernström scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Tinglöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Ove Moberg got free with Bernt Tinglöf in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Ingmar Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Henry Malmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orvar Lundkvist. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Malmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bernt Tinglöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Siggesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernt Tinglöf came out and tried to block the shot, but Åke Siggesson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 29th minute. Bernt Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Vallengren in the 32nd minute of the match. Karl-Ove Moberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Ove Moberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Ove Moberg to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Tinglöf was a little too slow when Ingmar Vallengren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Ahlgren to make the kick off. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Jens-Ove Ahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernt Tinglöf. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernt Tinglöf should have stopped the shot. IFK Göteborg's Bernt Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Vallengren in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Calle Pihl hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Ola Kämpe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernt Tinglöf skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Ahlgren in the 83rd minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Bernt Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Axel Fernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernt Tinglöf was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 91 minutes, Jan-Ove Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Göteborg and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Jan-Ove Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Jan-Ove Olofsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Bernt Tinglöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borussia Dortmund's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
