Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peder Billström in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Lang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Robin Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sölvesborg's Karl-Erik Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Backman in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Peder Billström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 30 minutes, Peder Billström made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sölvesborg's Karl-Erik Lang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Erik Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Billström in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Adrian Sandell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sölvesborg's Karl-Erik Lang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Peder Billström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Billström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Adrian Sandell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Sandell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Lang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Peder Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sölvesborg! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The tension between the Trabzonspor FF and the Sölvesborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Trabzonspor FF got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lidman. In the 99th minute, Benjamin Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trabzonspor FF played a much better game than Sölvesborg and deserved their victory. The Sölvesborg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
