In the 13th minute, Felix Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmie Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Fredrik Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lindman in the 25th minute of play. Västergårds Fotbollsklubb were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Gnesta FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens-Åke Vestberg took the corner. Jimmie Bogren hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Karl-Magnus Wästerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sivert Kellman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes, Västergårds Fotbollsklubb's Jens-Åke Vestberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fredrik Bergström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Västergårds Fotbollsklubb reached it. 41 minutes into the match, Gnesta FF's goalkeeper Fredrik Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Lindman. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Lindman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jens-Åke Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Västergårds Fotbollsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Marvelous Marver came free, but Kalle Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Lindman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Bergström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Västergårds Fotbollsklubb's Jens-Åke Vestberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Västergårds Fotbollsklubb booed when Gnesta FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Molin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Pihlblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Pihlblad ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Västergårds Fotbollsklubb getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. August Söderström hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Västergårds Fotbollsklubb got a freekick which was hit by George Lindman. Pankracy Slazak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Bengtsson having to interfere. Västergårds Fotbollsklubb's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
