In the 5th minute of the match Kim Ahlbom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulf Utter skillfully saved the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lovikka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Lovikka's Rickard Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Sandell in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Edward Böcklund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rickard Tunberg. The goal made the score 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Ken Block threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lovikka's Algot Hamnberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Trabzonspor FF's Robin Lingren got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Sandell in the 37th minute of play forced Lovikka's goalkeeper Rickard Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Billström in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickard Tunberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lovikka's Rickard Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Lovikka from getting a goal against them. Lovikka's Alexander Nordal got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonardo Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Leonardo Östlund made the kick off in the second half. If Kjell-Arne Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, Kjell-Arne Mårtensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lovikka and the Trabzonspor FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjell-Arne Mårtensson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rickard Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Billström in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lovikka defense, Peder Billström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Tunberg. The Lovikka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Tunberg should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes, Leonardo Östlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lovikka and the Trabzonspor FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Lovikka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Östlund to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Trabzonspor FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lovikka for a fine match.
