In the 33rd minute, Jim Ahlström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Strömberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Jonas Jernberg fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Florenzi FC's protests and gave Jonas Jernberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Jernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ljungby's Jakob Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Engström in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Jan-Åke Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
