Spectators: 5501 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 1) Folke Nyström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Lovikka's Kjell-Arne Mårtensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Östen Bergfelt. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. August Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Östen Bergfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KstadHc's Nils-Erik Ekgren got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Kjell-Arne Mårtensson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 18 minutes into the game, Kim Ahlbom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Östen Bergfelt. Kim Ahlbom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 27 minutes, Richard Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lovikka and the KstadHc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Lovikka getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kim Ahlbom hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ove Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot. KstadHc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Söderman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Tunberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Tunberg having to interfere. After 36 played minutes KstadHc got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Karlsson. In the 40th minute Ove Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Ahlbom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Östen Bergfelt 42 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Karlsson during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Kjell-Arne Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torgny Fristedt kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Östen Bergfelt came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Lovikka's Kjell-Arne Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Kim Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Östen Bergfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lovikka. In the 66th minute, Kim Ahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lovikka's Kjell-Arne Mårtensson in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KstadHc's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in KstadHc's zone, August Örtendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Bergfelt came out of the goal and August Örtendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kjell-Arne Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lovikka's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lovikka booed when KstadHc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Östen Bergfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lovikka. 84 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Mårtensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Östen Bergfelt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Mårtensson in the 88th minute of play forced KstadHc's goalkeeper Östen Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, KstadHc's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Mårtensson came free, but Östen Bergfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Örtendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, KstadHc's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Mårtensson came free, but Östen Bergfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Lovikka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
