The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rune Skoglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Fredriksson having to interfere. Rune Skoglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Joar Fredriksson made a huge save. Joar Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Fågelmara's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Moberg came free, but Oskar Wassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Knäcka nötter's Joar Fredriksson got control of the ball when Rune Skoglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Gottfrid Moberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fågelmara's Oskar Wassenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Gottfrid Moberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oskar Wassenius. 24 minutes into the match, Rune Skoglund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Knäcka nötter's Joar Fredriksson. Joar Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Carlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Fredriksson having to interfere. Maximilian Jonasson's late challenge caught a Knäcka nötter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximilian Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Rune Skoglund scored 2-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute Maximilian Snäll managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Oskar Wassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Moberg in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Knäcka nötter were awarded a corner. Maximilian Snäll went to the cornerflag to take it. Knäcka nötter's Maximilian Snäll was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oskar Wassenius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Rune Skoglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fågelmara's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Skoglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joar Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Maximilian Snäll hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Knäcka nötter defense, John Barck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Fredriksson. The Knäcka nötter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Fågelmara's Maximilian Jonasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Fredriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fågelmara's Oskar Wassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Fågelmara from getting a goal against them. Joar Fredriksson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fågelmara's Maximilian Jonasson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Rune Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knäcka nötter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximilian Jonasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Knäcka nötter's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
