Olof Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Olof Bäcklin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andreas Österlund. Olof Bäcklin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match Torbjörn Pettersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Sigman skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Matsson in the 15th minute of play forced Aurelia Invictus's goalkeeper Erik Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Unicornen booed when Aurelia Invictus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Unicornen got a freekick which was hit by Frans Berglund. After a rather tough play, Aurelia Invictus's Leonardo Arvidsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Björn Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Unicornen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Matsson to maneuver through the defense. Erik Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Matsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Andreas Österlund was a little too slow when Björn Ahlfors got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Ingvar Matsson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Erik Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unicornen. In the 37th minute, Isaac Kiempe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Sigman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ingvar Matsson put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Sigman. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olof Bäcklin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Björn Ahlfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurelia Invictus's goalkeeper Erik Sigman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes in the game, Isaac Kiempe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Erik Sigman having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Unicornen got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Forss. In the 61st minute, Andy Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Matsson in the 65th minute of play forced Aurelia Invictus's goalkeeper Erik Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Olof Bäcklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurelia Invictus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Bäcklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Matsson in the 71st minute of the match. Bengt Lundberg's late challenge caught a Aurelia Invictus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Olof Bäcklin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unicornen's Andreas Österlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Ahlfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Isaac Kiempe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Erik Sigman made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Aurelia Invictus's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Matsson came free, but Erik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Erik Sigman managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Unicornen's Isaac Kiempe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erik Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Matsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Unicornen succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Aurelia Invictus had controlled the match.
