Kalle Öfverman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Mårtensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Andreas Österlund made a huge save. If Magnus Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Diabys Dream's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Matsson came free, but Folke Uggla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Österlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magnus Wallin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Magnus Wallin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andreas Österlund. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute, Isaac Kiempe made a precise shot to the right of Folke Uggla. Diabys Dream's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Unicornen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Isaac Kiempe hit a great ball. Magnus Wallin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Andreas Österlund 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Tomas Mårtensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Andreas Österlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Folke Uggla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Matsson in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Wallin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Österlund saved Unicornen from getting behind. Andreas Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Vallmark in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Ingvar Matsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Uggla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Mårtensson got free with Andreas Österlund in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Ingvar Matsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Uggla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Uggla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Matsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Matsson made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Isaac Kiempe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Uggla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andreas Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Mårtensson in the 54th minute of play. If Magnus Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Diabys Dream's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Matsson came free, but Folke Uggla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Unicornen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bengt Lundberg hit a great ball. Andreas Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Wallin in the 70th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Magnus Wallin sped through Unicornen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Österlund. 79 minutes into the match, Unicornen's Isaac Kiempe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Uggla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Vallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Unicornen got a freekick which was hit by Jan Olofsson. In the 87th minute, Ingvar Matsson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Bror Nyberg's late challenge caught a Unicornen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diabys Dream fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Diabys Dream:s Folke Uggla showed great skill when he stopped Torbjörn Pettersson:s penalty. Unicornen's Andreas Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Wallin in the 93rd minute of play. Diabys Dream's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
