After a defensive mix-up in Stureplanspojkarna's zone, Gösta Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Byström came out of the goal and Gösta Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Nils Lindman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örebro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Lindman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Byström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Johansson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Hans Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Lindman came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Björn Byström could save by the left post. Nils Lindman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Björn Byström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Stureplanspojkarna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Örebro BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
