In the 17th match minute, Pålsboda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Tillman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Youngboys FF booed when Pålsboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Joensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Joakim Smefeldt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Åkesson skillfully saved the ball. Henning Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Alebom, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pålsboda's zone, Jakob Alebom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Åkesson came out of the goal and Jakob Alebom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Pålsboda's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Bergkvist came free, but Henning Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Måns Bergkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Youngboys FF and the Pålsboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Måns Bergkvist hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Hans Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Ekenberg in the 39th minute of play. Ronny Stigsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hans Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Tillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Youngboys FF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Överman. Youngboys FF's Hans Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Youngboys FF from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Ekenberg was the one to do the kick off. Youngboys FF's Hans Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Ekenberg in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Gilbert Odeen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hans Lundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vilhelm Ekenberg struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hans Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pålsboda. 61 minutes into the match, Gilbert Odeen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Youngboys FF's Hans Lundin. Hans Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Alebom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Åkesson having to interfere. Ove Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Ekenberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Lundin saved Youngboys FF from getting behind. In the 76th minute Vilhelm Ekenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Alebom, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Bohlin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Youngboys FF booed when Pålsboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Bohlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pålsboda fully deserved thier win.
