Herman Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes, IFK EMOU's Magnus Stålberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herman Gunnarsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK EMOU reached it. The supporters of IFK EMOU booed when Skällinge RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Kolberg got free with Herman Gunnarsson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skällinge RK's goalkeeper Herman Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute Nils Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Tim Uggla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of IFK EMOU's Niclas Elg. When Tim Uggla came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Skällinge RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Uggla couldn't finish the play. The supporters of IFK EMOU booed when Skällinge RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eric Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
