Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andreas Apelquist took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Edvin Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Greger Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Fernkvist in the 13th minute of play. Börje Blomkvist's late challenge caught a Skogås FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Blomkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Börje Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Apelquist in the 17th minute of play forced Haby BoIS's goalkeeper Ingvar Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Haby BoIS's Börje Blomkvist got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Skogås FF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mikael Ljungberg hit a great ball. Mattias Ahlbeck's late challenge caught a Skogås FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Ahlbeck helped the player get up and apologised. Mattias Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Elliot Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Fernkvist in the 37th minute of play. Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Kling in the 39th minute of play. Skogås FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Greger Svanström scored to the left of an out of position Tony Ekgren, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Greger Svanström made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Haby BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Svanström to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Stig-Ove Blom from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Ingvar Sandberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 63rd minute, Skogås FF's Andreas Apelquist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 71st match minute, Haby BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Hannes Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Erik Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Fernkvist in the 77th minute of play. Andreas Apelquists short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ingvar Sandberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Haby BoIS's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Apelquist came free, but Ingvar Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Fernkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Sandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Erik Fernkvist in the 90th minute. After 96 played minutes Haby BoIS got a freekick which was hit by Börje Blomkvist. Skogås FF played a much better game than Haby BoIS and deserved their victory. The Haby BoIS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
