Greger Svanström started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Haby BoIS booed when IFK EMOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Smed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK EMOU's Bernt Kolberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ingvar Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Back in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Algot Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes in the game Felix Grönberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nils Back. In the 36th minute Greger Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Blomkvist hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

Greger Svanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Smed in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Sven Lenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ingvar Sandberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes Haby BoIS got a freekick which was hit by Greger Svanström. IFK EMOU's Niclas Elg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save IFK EMOU from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Georg Erserman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niclas Elg, passed just outside the right post. Greger Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Elg having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IFK EMOU fully deserved thier win.
