Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vilgot Alfors made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Joseph Ahlkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alby and the Skällinge RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joseph Ahlkvist hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Folke Brask ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 12th minute, Fredric Häll left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Eric Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Häger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Wennerqvist having to make a save. Filiph Lövgren scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Wennerqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Häll's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herman Gunnarsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Filip Bäckström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herman Gunnarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Bäckström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 29th minute. Alvar Johansson's late challenge caught a Skällinge RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. Alvar Johansson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Filip Bäckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Skällinge RK's Tim Uggla in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alby's goalie prevented a goal. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Skällinge RK's Tim Uggla. But to his dismay, Tim Uggla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Fredric Häll struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Herman Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alby. After 45 played minutes Alby got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Häll. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Uggla's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Tim Uggla made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Alby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Ove Alebäck who took care of the corner kick. Skällinge RK were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Alby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Ove Alebäck took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Eric Klintæus managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 58 played minutes Skällinge RK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Lindström. If Fredric Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, one of Skällinge RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Herman Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Alby's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Uggla. In the 74th minute, Karl-Ove Alebäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skällinge RK's Herman Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Alfors in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Bäckström in the 79th minute of play forced Skällinge RK's goalkeeper Herman Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Fredric Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Alfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filiph Lövgren came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Skällinge RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Lövgren couldn't finish the play. Skällinge RK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
