Sven-Ove Vik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Söderquist's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Sven-Ove Vik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Söderquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Bertil Spets throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ejner Lyhøj in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ejner Lyhøj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Spets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Stig Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dunderbacken BK's Bertil Spets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunderbacken BK from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markus Johansson to make the kick off. Marc Larsson lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The excitement rose when AIK's Börge Lundblad after 89 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Dunderbacken BK's goalkeeper to hold.
