Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kåre Sjögren started the match with the kick off. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Olov Stephansson made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Stephansson. Olov Stephansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Mathias Pilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Ingemarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Olov Stephansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Jelm in the 26th minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Olov Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Jelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, Martin Walroth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Glimåkra's Ludwig Dalman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Olov Stephansson made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Åke Jelm made a kick off. Stig-Åke Jelm scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Stephansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th match minute, Glimåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes, Stig-Åke Jelm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glimåkra and the Rätan IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stig-Åke Jelm kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Glimåkra got a freekick which was hit by David Westerstrand. In the last second Per-Arne Sandell throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kåre Sjögren in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 69 minutes of play, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Stephansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, Glimåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Stephansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Petter Sjödin made a precise shot to the right of Olov Stephansson. Rätan IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 85th minute, Stig-Åke Jelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Stephansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Rätan IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
