In the 11th minute Per-Oskar Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Hallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ingmar Målare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Per-Arne Sandell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Malmö Torpedos's Per-Arne Sandell threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingmar Målare, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the game, Glimåkra's Per-Oskar Ingemarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Hallgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ingemar Haglund made a great header on Glimåkra's corner, it was just that Malmö Torpedos's Alf Hallgren managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Glimåkra booed when Malmö Torpedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Säf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Sandell having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingmar Målare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Glimåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Jelm to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Per-Oskar Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glimåkra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Oskar Ingemarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stig-Åke Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Glimåkra defense, Karl-Åke Galle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Arne Sandell. The Glimåkra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Arne Sandell should have stopped the shot. After 80 minutes, William Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glimåkra and the Malmö Torpedos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, William Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Per-Oskar Ingemarsson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Glimåkra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Ingemarsson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Målare in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Arne Sandell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alf Hallgren made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Haglund during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingemar Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Malmö Torpedos manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Glimåkra to win.
