After a defensive mix-up in Guttes Pojkar's zone, Stig-Åke Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Deaconsfield came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Glimåkra's Petter Sjödin got a free kick in the 11th minute. The excitement rose when Guttes Pojkar's Mats Springfält after 13 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Glimåkra's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Sellberg in the 20th minute of play forced Glimåkra's goalkeeper Per-Arne Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Deaconsfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Stig-Åke Jelm struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Harvey Deaconsfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glimåkra. Harvey Deaconsfield came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Glimåkra's Per-Oskar Ingemarsson. But to his dismay, Per-Oskar Ingemarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Glimåkra were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Glimåkra's Stig-Åke Jelm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harvey Deaconsfield. Harvey Deaconsfield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Richard Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Per-Arne Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petter Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Per-Oskar Ingemarsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Harvey Deaconsfield to make any attempt to save it. Per-Oskar Ingemarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Deaconsfield having to interfere. Stig-Åke Jelm struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Harvey Deaconsfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glimåkra. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Ingemarsson got free with Harvey Deaconsfield in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
